| Reconcile, Emo Band from Malang |
Pojok Seni/Malang - Malang emo unit, Reconcile which is now fronted by Dava (Vocals/Guitar), Nabil (Lead Guitar), Zidane (Bass), and Chelsey (Drums) kagain showing abilityher in composing emotional music with his latest maxi single "Drowned in Static". This Maxi single contains 2 songs entitled "Numb” and "Somewhere you can find" which also the opening of album that will be released in the near future and is currently underway undergo production period. Maxi single "Drowned in Static" also marks a new chapter for Reconcile with the record label Haum Entertainment which is also from Malang.
Different from previous EP Faint Reflection, the two singles which will be the forerunners of the upcoming album propose a more universal theme.
"The theme of the maxi single "Drowned in Static" this time is about how someone has been lied to by the reality given, thus making someone lose direction and fall far away into nothingness. This song honestly describes the pain and emptiness experienced I Alone," explained Dava
This maxi single is a depiction of the beginning of someone's story which will later be completed with a storyline as the album making process progresses. It is hoped that this release will be a friend to anyone who has ever felt the emptiness and emptiness caused by the absence of reality itself. For the album's theme, Reconcile continues to explore the depths of human emotions, this time focusing on the theme of lies presented by a false reality.

Production of the maxi single "Drowned in Static" itself began on December 20 2024. Both songs were written by Dava Hendra and produced by Reconcile, with compositions by Zidane Marvelo, Chelsey Agustine, Nabil Zuhdi, and Dava Hendra. The recording process was carried out by Dava Hendra, while mixing and mastering was handled by Yudhistiro Lilo P at W8 Project Studio. For the visual aspect, the artwork was created by Dava Hendra, with artwork photos shot by Ridho Enggar, as well as the band photo session handled by Gavin Putra.
Maxi single "Drowned in Static" will accompany listeners' fasting and relaxing moments on all digital streaming platforms and Haum Entertainment's bandcamp on March 7, 2025. (alfan)
