Pojokseni/Yogyakarta – A new band from Yogyakarta, "Sekusi" has sincerely released their debut single titled "Smaranada". This song tells the story of longing that never fades and the hope that the beloved one will understand the feelings, even though distance and time don't allow them to be together.
Smaranada represents deep emotions poured into the lyrics, taking the listener on an emotional journey filled with longing and anticipation. The lyrics of Smaranada describe the feeling of someone who is constantly haunted by the image of the one they long for, even though in the end, they must accept the bitter reality that not all hopes can be fulfilled as desired.
Sekusi was formed in mid-2024, consisting of four members: Hera (Vocals), Azra (Keyboard), Zaldy (Guitar), and Amatcih (Bass). With Hera's distinctive vocals, combined with atmospheric musical arrangements, "Smaranada" offers a melancholic tone that envelops the deep longing emotions. This song shows how Sekusi conveys feelings through harmony and lyrics full of meaning.
