| Lyrical dance untuk Stay Op. 2/5 |
PojokSeni.com - Lyrical Dance menjadi tema utama untuk video musik pertama Alir, Stay Op. 2/5. Proses penggarapan video musik ini memakan waktu selama 6 minggu namun baru dirilis 3 tahun kemudian. Meskipun sudah 6 tahun berjalan dengan 3 mini album yang sudah bisa dinikmati di wahana streaming digital, entitas musik Alir, belum percaya diri untuk mengeluarkan video musik. Namun bersamaan dengan proses pengerjaan album yang akan dirilis tahun ini, mereka akhirnya memutuskan untuk mengeluarkan video musik yang sempat tertunda ini pada 26 Mei 2023.
Pandemi 2020 menjadi dua sisi mata uang dimana kesedihan menjadi salah satu wajahnya dan disisi lain mendorong para kreator untuk pulang dan berproses di kota asalnya. Itulah kalimat yang tepat untuk menggambarkan Alir, pada saat itu dan projek video musik Stay Op. 2/5 menjadi salah satu bentuk manifestasinya. Diproduksi secara mandiri serta melibatkan kolaborator dari kota asal beberapa personelnya, yaitu kota Garut, projek ini menjadi salah satu tempat bereksplorasi, baik untuk internal Alir, maupun kolaborator yang terlibat yang diantaranya Nabila Elgabi sebagai penari di dalam video klip ini; Sururi Purawinata sebagai koreografer; Lutfi Burhan sebagai perancang busana; Chris Monica sebagai penata rias serta Humafield, sebuah kolektif yang menjadi unit pendukung projek video musik ini.
Seperti yang telah disinggung sebelumnya bahwa dalam proses pengerjaan video musik Stay Op. 2/5 mendorong Alir, beserta masing masing kolaborator untuk bereksplorasi dan bermain pada domain domain yang baru, bahkan untuk beberapa dari mereka, merupakan kali pertama. Untuk pertama kalinya Nabila Elgabi tampil dalam sebuah video musik dan bekerja bersama Sururi Purawinata sebagai koreografer untuk menampilkan lyrical dance yang bukan kemampuan utamanya. Lutfi Burhan datang dengan konsep upcycle-nya, menyulap kain bekas gorden menjadi gaun yang khusus dibuatkan untuk projek ini. Chris Monica yang menetapkan konsep make up tribal sebagai interpretasinya terhadap repertoire Alir, ini serta kolektif Humafield dengan pesawat-pesawat sederhananya, menjadi elemen pelengkap produksi video musik ini.
Stay Op. 2/5 merupakan bentuk “udunan” dari komponen-komponen yang terlibat didalamnya serta menjadi video musik pertama yang menutup 5 tahun kronik awal kolektif musik Alir, dan bermuara pada album pertama mereka yang direncanakan rilis akhir tahun ini.

Lyrical Dance became the main theme for Alir's first music video, Stay Op. 2/5. The process of creating this music video took 6 weeks but was only released 3 years later. Despite having been active for 6 years with 3 mini albums that were already available on digital streaming platforms, Alir, as a music entity, lacked the confidence to release a music video. However, during the production process of their upcoming album to be released this year, they finally decided to release this delayed music video on May 26, 2023. The 2020 pandemic era had two sides where sadness became one of its faces, while on the other hand, it drove creators to return and work in their hometowns.
That statement accurately describes Alir, during that time, and the Stay Op. 2/5 music video project became one of its manifestations. Produced independently and involving collaborators from their hometown, specifically Garut, this project became a space for exploration, both for Alir, and the participating collaborators, including Nabila Elgabi as a dancer in this music video; Sururi Purawinata as the choreographer; Lutfi Burhan as the fashion designer; Chris Monica as the makeup artist; and Humafield, a collective that provided support for this music video project. As previously mentioned, during the production process of the Stay Op. 2/5 music video, it pushed Alir, and each collaborator to explore and venture into new domains, even for some of them, it was their first time. It marked Nabila Elgabi's first appearance in a music video, working alongside Sururi Purawinata as the choreographer to showcase lyrical dance, which was not her primary skill.

Lutfi Burhan brought his upcycling concept, transforming old curtain fabric into specially tailored dresses for this project. Chris Monica established a tribal makeup concept according to her interpretation of the repertoire and Humafield collective with their DIY props, became complementary elements in the production of this music video.
Stay Op. 2/5 is a piece created by each component worked by collaborators and serves as the first music video that concludes the initial 5-year chronicle of Alir's music collective. It also leads to their planned debut album, set to be released later this year.
